In recognition of Pro-Ject’s 30th anniversary, Pro-Ject wanted to go back to their roots bringing a new design to their turntables. Not only was a new turntable made, but also a completely new cartridge. Pro-Ject teamed up with Ortofon to develop a unique range of cartridges. With thanks to Ortofon’s excellent manufacturing skills, they were able to produce a very special cartridge: The Pick it PRO.
The new Pick it PRO delivers a more lively and robust sound and convinces with its broad dynamic range. The perfect combination of components is key in achieving the great charismatic sound of the Pick it PRO.
The Pick-IT PRO is based on the classic Ortofon 2M body, but its sound is inspired by traditional SPU designs with its lower compliance, lower capacitance and slightly higher output. When installed on the Debut PRO, the result is a high-performance sound with true character.
